Tina Packer

If you’ve ever watched a play under the stars at Shakespeare & Company, you understand the impact of English-born Tina Packer, S&C’s co-founder and artistic director from 1978 to 2009 who continues to be involved with the company. More than a Shakespearean expert, actor, and director, Packer created an extraordinary environment in Lenox in which to experience the work of the world’s most studied playwright. In addition, she has taught Shakespeare at more than 30 colleges, authored several and gave a TEDx talk about Women’s Voices.
